Adult Sunday School Classes: YOU BELONG!

For Christians life here is a short journey with Jesus. Then real life begins!

At St. Paul’s there is a class for every age and an opportunity to reflect, study and grow in a learning environment. Come and join us as we commune together. Below is a layout of the building and a listing of our current adult classes. We have also made available our Adult Sunday School Brochure below.

This class is composed primarily of senior citizens but is open to all ages of persons who desire to study the Bible. Their key approach is to study the books of the Bible chronologically. Rex Pieper has been the teacher for a number of years, and currently the class is going through the Book of Jeremiah. They meet in patio room 2 (west side of “God’s Garden”, just outside of Fellowship Hall).

HERE IT IS  Room  E 208-209 (east side, upstairs)

Multi-age group studying biblical topics using books, media, and current events.  Currently this class is studying a survey of the Gospel of Mark.  Pastor Paul is the current teacher.  Others will be assisting.  We have lively discussions about what the Word of God means for our lives today, and we always close by sharing prayer requests and praying for
one another.

THE LAMBS CLASS – 107 (Commons Area)

For over four decades, St. Paul’s has been home to the Lambs’ Class, a special Sunday school for person with developmental disabilities. Each Sunday morning approximately 15 members of the class gather in the classroom, located in the commons area of the church, to worship, pray study and share fellowship. Most Sundays, guitar/singer Terry Alvarez comes to lead the class in singing and praising. There is a time for coloring, crafts and sometimes short dramas or movies depicting bible stories. The morning culminates in sugar free snacks and juice.

Some class members go on to church service at 10:45 where they participate in ushering, while others leave to carry on Sunday activities. The class is non-denominational Christian and peace, joy and love of Jesus Christ is emphasized. All ages from teens to seniors are welcome, as are their caregivers if they wish to stay for the class. Two Sunday school teachers, Barbara Moseley and Heather Pollard are present to guide the class and teach the lessons. There are no learning requirements and each person participates at their own level.

If you have questions regarding the Lambs’ Class, please call the church at 526-6680. This is a fabulous ministry for all!

NEW CREATIONS   Room 202-A (east end of “The Bridge”)

book by Billy Graham The Journey .   In this book Graham, the famous public evangelist talks about the process (life-long!) by which
God saves us.

This active bunch of ladies (and it can include men!) enjoys coffee, fellowship, the Bible, and the opportunity to extend hospitality to any and all who come through our doors (no matter what age or station in life).  Join them as they build each other up in the faith that comes from Jesus Christ!

PLEASE KNOW THAT WHOEVER YOU ARE, WE HAVE SOMETHING FOR YOU, AND YOU ARE INVITED!
